Artist Bio - Lynn Limon

Lynn Limon is an award-winning, fine art photographer who enjoys capturing images of broad, dramatic landscapes, of intimate flower and garden scenes, and of architectural details in both new and well-worn buildings. Recent visits to Utah’s National Parks and Miami’s South Beach district offer examples of the diversity of Lynn’s work. The Utah images illustrate the contrast of red rock against the big skies of the American West. The South Beach series celebrate the colorful, art deco buildings and exemplify how well the bright building colors complement their unusual shapes.

Lynn’s annual Richmond color calendar, published since 2001, has enjoyed increasing popularity. The calendar highlights the many beautiful aspects of our city throughout the four seasons. Favorite photos include angel statuary in Hollywood Cemetery, Maymont’s Italian and Japanese Gardens, popular downtown landmarks, our scenic James River, and Monument Avenue’s most famous residents.

Lynn enjoys participating in Richmond area art shows, including Arts in the Park and the annual Gallery show. She is currently an artist-in-residence at Crossroads Art Center where she was artist of the month for April 2005.
